Ana Paula Oliveira bio

Ana Paula Oliveira, born in Campinas Sao Paulo on May 26, 1978. She is known as an actor in Woman on Top (2000), Sem Fio (2009) as well as A Indomada (1997). Ana Paula Oliveira was appointed to The Global Initiative Against Transnational Organized Crime in March 2020. She manages the Assassination Witness and is a member of GI-TOC's Multilateral Engagement team. In her work at GI TOC she is focused on disappearances, assassinations - and violence of other types in the context of illicit economies. Research interests include the effects of organized crime on policy, law and legislation relating with human rights. Ana Paula received an LL.M.cum laude degree in International Law, from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva. Ana Paula earned a magnacum honours bachelor's degree Legal and Social Sciences at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. She trained as a lawyer who worked for four years at an attorney firm for public law. Her previous experience also includes working in non-governmental organisations with their the headquarters located within Rio de Janeiro.
